Today and yesterday our program has been full with our hostess, Yukari-san, being such a wonderful... Well, hostess. Yesterday morning she came to our room, asking if we had any grand plans for the day. When we said no she said she could take us to the local aquarium/penguin park!
After leaving the aquarium Yukari-san drove us to the local shopping center and we went window shopping/ hanging out/ to the cd-store (I wanna buy Super Junior's newest album! -Mia)/ eating udon/ whatever you do in a mall.
Wednesday
By noon we were out and about, going to see the Chinatown, Meganebashi ("glasses-bridge") and local shrines. We got our food from the Suupaa (=Supermarket) and elitistically ate ready-made meals.
Chinatown
On top of Inasa-san
We didn't actually see anything so we had to take a picture in front of a poster inside the tower on top of
said Inasa-san.
Oh, the fish/thing on that second picture looks rather FISHY! I just had to TAKE THE BAIT on that one, haha! You know how much I love bad puns.
VastaaPoistaNatalie and I went to Tallinn on Saturday and the weather was bloody tropical! Almost. We met some british blokes and had a nice time. And I bought a winebottle shaped like a cat. He's beautiful and dark blue and I've decided to crown him my new official Zuperfriend to replace you while your away.
We came back to Finland after 11 PM the same day and I headed straight off to Alppila to stay in Vesa's apartment. He's a friend of my older brother and he is somewhere else (haha I don't even know) for a month, so we can use it for that period, with my brother paying half the rent. It's a nice little place and he has some cool movies, so.
Say hi to Mia from me, unless I go on her blog and do it myself. Which I probably will, but you can tell her anyway, because I'm a busy person and sometimes I forget. And tell her that her shirt looks lovely!
Keep on doing whatever!
